In Memory

Earlier this year on 10th Feb We lost Jasper (pictured above and
below) He was a TB ex race horse. He was beautiful, and a real
gentle giant! When we first got him he was underweight and
unloved by his last owner. And once we had him, he was
bullied by people at the yard we were on, Saying  he was anorexic
ill and 'not a happy bunny' People called him and old nag and
said that if we did get him to out on weight he would be to
much for us to handle. And he even had the RSPCA called on him
by a group of two faced idiots!
However he did put on weight, and never changed his ways,
he was still as gentle and loving and kind as ever.
I remember riding him down the road bareback and riding
him back to his field like that to. He was always a slow horse
and used to walk around at his own slow speed.
Then Two Years ago on 1st January 2014 Jasper was Shot
in the knee, The injury was very serious and he had to be
kept in a small space for a month nearly to rest up his
poorly leg. The vet told us that if the injury was a few inches
lower then it would not have been treatable. The vet told
us that the injury was the result of a firearm and it is
believed he was shot earlier that morning or the night before.
He made a full recovery, but sadly started to lose weight
at the start of this year.
Just one week before he passed he was brought out for his
last time in the yard (none of us knowing that) and he finally
heard what he has been wanted to hear all his life with us.
Someone who was in the yard with us said "Now that's that
you call a proper horse!" A complement that I'm sure Jasper
Appreciated. He was a much loved old boy, by humans and
other horses alike.
Miss you so much Jasper Carat!

Happy New Year 2016

Can you really believe it, another year has just flown by, It seems
only a couple of months ago i was watching the fireworks in
London on the TV! Now its come round again. Its been a busy year,
and a lot has happened. Some good but a lot of bad.
One of the good things that came out of this year is this blog.
I have kept it going for this length of time and i have even surprised
myself by how long i have kept this blog up. I think the amount
of views i get have kept me going though, because i want to keep
the views coming and the viewing number climbing up and up.
So truly to all the people that have viewed and read this blog, and to
everyone who has had an interview on here or contributed to this
blog, may you have a great new year, may 2016 bless you and your
families and give you everything you have ever wanted.
HAPPY NEW YEAR

Christmas Day

As the day comes to an end i'll send this
message to readers and friends.
I hope you had a Christmas to remember
and i hope you had a cool December.

I will be having  a few days off this blog now, so enjoy
your Christmas holidays and have a Happy New year!

A Christmas Poem!

The nights are long,
the days are cold,
the tree is dressed
as another year grows old.
The gifts are all under the tree,
your lights are all shining for all to see.
Your family near,
your stomach full,
its the time of year to deck the hall.
So Christmas day comes
and it goes,
there is just one thing that everyone knows.
It doesn't matter whats under the tree.
It means more spending the day with family.

Have a very very Merry Christmas!

On the feast of Stephen (Hey!)
When the snow was on the ground (Yeah!)
Deep and crisp and even (Oh yeah!)

"Brightly was the schon at night
Though the winter cruel
When a pork pie came inside
Gathering winter cruel"
"Rudolph, the red nosed reindeer (Ho!)

Rudolph, the red nosed Ringo (Rudolph!)
Had a very shiny nose"

How the Beatles Spent Christmas

Christmas Day 1964
With Ringo and George both living together at
Flat 7 Whaddon House, in London. Spent the day together
while John spent the day with his wife Cynthia and son
Julian, and Paul spent the day with Jane Asher (his girlfriend)
with her family.  Paul Went on to announce his engagement to
her on Christmas day 1967.

Twas the Eve of the Eve of Christmas day!

23rd of December and Christmas is just around the corner,
and who wouldn't love to find The Beatles under their
tree this year?
So as christmas draws near lets all sit back with a mince pie
wrap up some Christmas gifts and play the Bealtes Christmas
records in the background!

Happy Cola Christmas

Its that time of the year again wen you see the cola
advert on TV!

It really has become a massive part of Christmas,
from the Christmas bottles to the most recognizable
Santa in history.
Then there is the famous truck that now you can
go and view every year on its way around the UK!
But this little model is a tiny one that i used to own!
I don't know what happened to it, but i remember it
ended up with bite marks in it from Ozzy and the
sticker on the side got wet and fell off!
And in the day and age of TV and Internet the famous
coca cola Christmas advert must be to many a
sing that Christmas is nearly here!

DON'T PANIC! It's only Christmas!

I recently did this poster for a radio play by a mate of mine from
Dublin! Its a great short radio play only half an hour.
So please give it a check out, it is very interesting. I can relate to
a lot of it also, and i'm sure most people can. Very well written
and well preformed!

Christmas Time with the Lennons

I promised some Christmas posts and i am delivering them.
And what a better way to start then Santa? Well
we haven't actually got a Santa photos here yet........
so just make do with this photo of John Dressed as Farther
Christmas! How cool! This photo is of him and Yoko
who dressed as Mr and Mrs Clause for the 1968 Apple
Christmas Party, and the person next to them is
Mart Hopkins who was signed to the Apple Record Label!

Tie Trousers

Ok come on, check out these 'Groovy' trousers! They scream
Psychedelic, If you could make LSD into trousers,
i'm pretty sure this this what it would look like. I love them.
I'd love something like this, cos i'm into anything
cool and hippy. However i believe if i had a jacket that
matched it would be abit much lol.
Five stars for coolness!

A Beatles Fan Interview With Sally

Today we have beatles fan and artist Sally Ronchetti.
Who is your favorite beatles?
Thank you Jay for asking me to do this I am very honoured.
My favorite Beatle would most certainly be George?  He to me is
the great thinker, quiet and only came forward when he had
something worthwhile and important to say and I think he was the
most spiritual as well.
To you what is the best beatles look?
A wink in my direction from George would have been a great look!
No seriously I liked their leather clad early days but it was ingenious
of Brian to put them into suits it made them stand out from the crowd.
What are your three favorite albums?
1. Revolver:  It was ahead of its time and sent the music world
reeling.  I think it was the start of creating new sounds  by dubbing
and looping and playing music backwards.
2. Rubber Soul: Should be joint number 1 favorite really. Some
amazing songs on there that showed how they had matured as a
group.  I love it.
3. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band:   Just summed up
the 60's with its kaleidoscope of colour and sound.  Its like
a work of art.  If only the kids of today listened to this more,
its the Grandfather of all today's music.
If you could own one beatle album what would that be?
Rubber Soul.
How did you get into the beatles?
I grew up with them when I was little, Ringo was my
favourite because I loved his name and his humour.  During
the 70's I was a victim of the teeny bopper charts but I returned
to the Beatles again when I realised what good music really was.
Who was the better song writer, lennon or mccartney?
Two great songwriters each unique in his own way but together
they were explosive, they thrived on jealousy and competition
with each other and produced amazing work.  So I cant really
decide, who knows what great songs John would have created had
he lived, we can only judge him on what was.
What is the best beatle book you have ever read?
Did you know there are over eighty nine thousand books registered in
The British library that mention the Beatles in one way or another,
every year more and more are coming out.  I have only read a grain
of sands amount compared to those available and I've not read all
I've bought, they are on my 'to be read list' but the the favourite
of the ones I have read Magical Mystery Tours by my friend
Tony Bramwell, its easily readable and good fun.
What is the best beatle movie you have ever watched?
A Hard Days Night. - I love it.  Beatlemania at its height, George
meeting Pattie, and portrayal of the old peoples confusion and
incomprehension of the invading music phenomenon that was
the Beatles at that time.
If you had the chance to buy some beatle art, what beatle's
 art would you buy?
I wouldn't, I'd be selling mine ha ha!  An original John Lennon
or Stuart Sutcliffe would be great to own though.

A Message to the trolls!

This blog has always been great fun for me, and i
am not going to let anyone ruin that for me.
I have been getting messages telling me that there are
complaints about my posts from people who are nameless
and have decided to take out some sort of hate for
me or my blog from behind a computer screen.
If you do have a problem with my blog then contact me,
message me, or say it to my face. Same goes for if you have a
problem for me personally. The people that do this obviously
are lacking any kind of personal life with any kind of manners
or guts. But as Mr Lennon says "Instant karma's ganna get you"
If people think doing this will stop me being interested in
posting they are wrong and if they think it will stop me
being active on here they are also wrong.
If i have had posted anything on my blog that has offended
anyone then i am sorry for that, BUT i do not believe that i
have, as all i share is art, beatles and Peace!
So lets forget about the idiots who think they can effect
your life hidden behind their laptops and smart phones.
So everyone of you that is supportive please come with
me and help me spread PEACE AND LOVE to everyone,
lets be the bigger people, lets be the smarter and more
genuine people, and not spread nasty words but share
LOVE and PEACE!

Thank you all for your continued views and support.
